As the editorial on TheBusinessOnline.com from which the above quote was excerpted continues, "There is no pleasure in recording this [but as] one astute American conservative commentator has already observed, President Bush has morphed into the Manchurian Candidate, behaving as if placed among Americans by their enemies to do them damage."
Meanwhile, progressives can't be blamed for an impulse to indulge in Eurospeak as well and bathe themselves in schadenfreude (pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others). Unfortunately, the amount of work required to prevent further damage by the administration and repair that already done, leaves us, like the TheBusinessOnline.com, with "no pleasure in recording this."
